On March 6th at UNIAN conference hall the press conference of Co-chair of the European Jewish Parliament (EJP), President of the All-Ukrainian Jewish Congress, prominent businessman Vadim Rabinovich was held.  More than 50 representatives of Ukrainian and other countries media came to hear his version regarding the attempt on his life. Оn March 4th  an explosive package was thrown in to his car when he was leaving the office building.  No one was injured in the incident; the car was slightingly damaged, as well as nearby buildings on Mechnikov Street.

Belgium: Jewish official met with Marine Le Pen

Turkey trial of Israeli military leaders

07 November 2012

Israel has branded Turkey putting four former senior Israeli military commanders on trial in absentia as ‘a kangaroo’ court and ‘political theatre’. The charges relate to the killing of nine Turks on board a Gaza-bound ship in 2010. Israeli commandos raided the Mavi Marmara to enforce a naval blockade of the Gaza Strip, which is meant to stop the flow of weapons into the Palestinian enclave. The Israelis say they were attacked by violent activists when they boarded.

Following the slogan "Look to see!", the channel has launched another broadcast version – in Ukrainian language. Now JN1 broadcasts in three languages - English, Russian and Ukrainian.
