Jewish teen wins science prize for music device

In New York a young teenage boy from the San Diego Jewish Academy has won a science prize at the second annual Google Science Fair competition for creating a device that uses tactile sound to enhance music for people that have difficulty hearing.

The competition attracted thousands of entries from across the world. Fourteen-year-old Jonah Kohn was one of five finalists in his age group and takes home a USD 25,000 scholarship for his ingenious musical device.
