Mr Kathan was born in Iraq on 1954 and moved with his family to the UK where he was educated and established  himself as a successful businessman. Mr. Kathan was a Member of the Political & Cultural Dialogue with Christian & Muslim Communities Committee of the European Jewish Parliament. Haim was a warmhearted Jew, active in his community and a devoted family man. Haim will be missed by his beloved family and friends, his community, his colleague MEJPs and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
