The number of votes in this first ever direct and democratic election to appoint members of the Parliament has been unprecedented throughout East, Central and Western Europe.  403810 voters have cast their vote for who they would like to represent their country at the Parliament, which will be a new and innovative forum to voice the thoughts, beliefs and ideas as well as concerns of European Jews towards European leaders, and Jewish communities.

We would like to thank all those who have participated in this election process.

The votes will now be counted and analysed electronically.  Those who have been elected to be a Member of the Parliament will be contacted to confirm their appointment as a Member of the Parliament.

We would like to thank you again for this sign of confidence and willingness to engage in this process. Our thanks also to the European Jewish Union for its vision.
