"This is an essential step forward in the ongoing development of this unique 24-hour global TV channel. From today, JN1 can be viewed from almost anywhere in the world, reaching out to Jews and non-Jews alike", said Tomer Orni, CEO of the European Jewish Union (EJU).

Earlier this month, the English language independent channel widened its satellite coverage in Europe, America, the Middle East and the European part of Russia thanks to carriage agreements with Astra4A, HotBird and Galaxy 19 Satellites.

JN1, which went on air on September 21, 2011, will soon also be available on cable television.

JN1 is currently broadcasting in the English language. In the future, JN1 will also be available in French, Russian and further languages. The station operates from Brussels, Tel Aviv, Kiev and other European capitals.
