Dear Friends,

We are pleased to announce that the voting phase of The European Jewish Parliamentary elections has now concluded.

This is an historic event and we hope that the European Jewish Parliament (‘EJP’) will be a positive force in meeting the changing conditions and challenges European Jewry is facing.

There was an overwhelming response to the elections with 403,100 people supporting the formation of the EJP by participating in the election process. This shows the huge demand across the continent for a new, fresh, up-to-date, transparent and democratically elected organisation in Europe.

Many of the elected candidates have now been notified of their success and we are looking forward to receiving the remaining approvals shortly, so that we may proceed with the first meeting of The European Jewish Parliament.

Please note that where the elected candidate has unfortunately had to decline the appointment, their position will be offered to the candidate who received the next highest number of votes.

We wish to take this opportunity and thank again the hundreds of thousands of voters who supported this ground breaking democratic celebration, as well as the elected candidates!
