A Turkish shampoo commercial featuring Adolf Hitler has drawn outrage from Jewish groups worldwide and calls for it to be withdrawn immediately.

Turkey has finally asked Israel for earthquake assistance from Israel on Tuesday after rejecting several offers by top Israeli officials in the last two days, the Israeli press reported.

Turkey refused to accept any international help, including that of Israel, despite the fact that almost a thousand Turkish citizens were killed in yesterday's earthquake and many wounded are still trapped under the ruins.

A 1000 people died today, October 23rd, in the city of Van, near the Iranian border. Several buildings have collapsed as a result of the earthquake which measured 6.6 on the Richter scale.
